These are beautiful, great sense of light. For plein air, do you mainly paint with large brushes, does that help you not fiddle around with detail?
Thanks!
Beautiful group Bryan! I looked for you on Sunday at the Laguna Museum but didn't see you. Your award winning painting was gone by the time I got there and I didn't get to see it. In fact, most of the award winning paintings were gone by then.
Judy,
I mainly use a Richard Simmons Flat number six hog bristle brush for both plein air and studio work. However I will sometimes use a number four flat and a number two flat.

Kim,
It was a busy week. I had a show opening at pacific edge gallery in Laguna the night before we turned in the paintings. I didn't have time to shoot pictures. Fortunately the scene I painted was right across the street from my friend Jeff Sewell's house. I want to do a larger studio piece of the scene so I'll have to do another study of the street.
Bryan
